This is brand new trek that Hipolito and I have put together- Glaciers, Inca Sites, High Altitude lakes, Original Inca Trail paths, Solitude, Coffee Plantation Tours…this trek has all of these things and more. We spend a lot of time discussing the merits of the Ancascocha and Salkantay This brand new trek combines our signature Ancascocha Trek with the most popular alternative trek to the Inca Trail. Of course on the final day of the trek you visit the magnificent city of Machu Picchu to cap it all off. We hope you will join us for this unique trek.
There will be one guide, Hipolito and myself. Must have 4 to have the trek logistically done budget wise. Our flight will be into Lima, where will stay one night, and then board a bus to Cusco, around 24-33 hours on a long long, curving, swerving, incredible trek in of itself into the Andes, and to Cusco. It is a good way to acclimate on the way, and you will know fast if you cant handle the altitude, :). From there we will take a day or two to wander and explore Cusco, meet our friend Hipolito for a trek dinner, and set out the following morning. We will be transported to the trail head, and will get transport back when we are finished, after our train ride from the Machu Picchu area. (Itinerary below). A more detailed itinerary will be sent under separate email and cover after signing up, OR, a month before we depart. (All pictures here are our own that we or are participants have taken of our groups in the particular areas listed below and are not stock photos unless its the guide company's logo or the like)
